Two-day Workshop Prep for the
First Level Cicerone
Beer Sommelier Exam
Civilization of Beer's exclusive, two day workshops
prepare culinary professionals to pass the first level,
Certified Beer Serverâ„¢ exam of the Cicerone Certification
Beer Sommelier Program.
Cicerone.org independently tests candidates on the knowledge
most crucial to creating and maintaining diverse and
profitable beer programs at retail. Civ. Of Beer provides
this knowledge through a traditional learning platform.
Subjects covered are proper storage and service, ingredients,
brewing process, flavor and evaluation, styles and pairing.
In addition, students will be exposed to proven hand
selling and food pairing techniques developed by Civilization
of Beer.
There are 13 seats in each workshop and they sell out.
To ensure a seat, reserve early. The workshops are open
to enthusiastic beverage industry professionals with
experience selling beer. Culinary student discounts
are available and training for second level Certified
Cicerone Certification is also now available on a very
limited basis.
